Alright, so I was feeling like some garlic bread yesterday, so my Aunt Pat and I went to eat at an Italian restaurant in Greenville. I ordered the shrimp alfredo fettichini. The plate was huge and came with two peices of garlic bread. So the first thing I did was decide to eat only half of the plate and one peice of garlic bread. ( I know that is still a lot of calories, but I had only had 450 calories at that point of the day, so I figured it would be okay). Then for desert I ordered this amazing cheese cake with caramel. I jokingly asked the waitor if those deserts came with a nutrition chart ( so I would know how many calories there were). Since I didn't know, I assumed the worst......which is probably 1000 calories......as opposed to the least that would be 350 calories (but this has chocolate and caramel and whip cream). So I decided not to chance it, and just eat about a 1/4 of the peice the waitor gave me. It was really good, and I ate with small bites ( really savoring it). But the thing that amazed me the most was that I was able to stop myself, and I didn't bring it home for later. ( yes in a way it was a waist of food, but for me it was a break through....and I did bring the alfredo home for the next day......so I got two meals out of it).
