Happy New Year

Do you know that this is the first new year that I haven't made a resolution about weight. For the first time in a very long time, I'm at a weight I'm completely comfortable with. That is a huge success statement. That said, I need to get back at it. I've slacked over the holidays and while I'm not gaining weight, I am losing muscle and endurance. Today starts the new routine. My running buddy and I have set a few goals for this coming year...
1st-run a 5K at the end of the month
2nd-run a 10K in February
3rd-we are planning a 5K for work in April
probably 5K or 10K sprinkled throughout the spring for good measure....then....
4th-we want to try to run a half marathon in the summer. I don't know if I can do it, but I don't know why I couldn't do it. I have to diligently train, no doubt about that, but I can so do that. Anyways, that is my new year 2009 goals. I hope everyone sets at least one goal (not resolutions that tend to be forgotten in 10 days) that they see to fruition in 2009. I wish you all God's blessing and favor in 2009!
