Over doing it

I had a C-Section 6 weeks ago and am not giving myself any mercy. I am exercising at least 5 days a week, which is probably okay it is just the intensity of my workouts that are causing me problems. I need to calm down realize I just had some pretty major surgery and ease into physical activity again. weight loss is a project, it will not just happen over night! I need to live with that. emoticon

    I had breast augmentation on March 15th and my doctor didn't want me to do any thing too strenuous for at least 6 weeks... When I had my hysterectomy, I had to wait at least 6 weeks and they told me just not to do any jarring movements.... anything cardio, that I could tolerate, but no jumping... no heavy lifting, but I could resume my weight training slowly ... and as far as my core, I could do ab/core work as tolerated, but just no pulling/pushing anything heavy....

    Take it easy... Exercise is good for you, just pace yourself, you don't have to do it "boot camp style" to get results... Remember that this is a process, like you said it is not something we will accomplish over night... this is what we will be doing "for life"... so you have plenty of time...

    Keep up the good work and "believe in the process"... it will happen...
