Hi gang,

I had a terrible day yesterday and with due reason but today is a new day.
I can see clearly now the rain is gone,
well, it's still raining but NOW I see why, thanks to another post from Quiggley
I was blaming my weight gain on the complex carbs that I was getting from Stage 2, when I finally realized that the guilty culprit was probably CHEESE.

During my stage 1 I'd almost eliminated cheese from my recipes and had added it back into my diet, and added the extra calories but had forgotten the terrible side effect that cheese has on many people. It's a rather BINDING part of the food group, LOL, if you know what I mean!

TA DAAAAAAAA, that was my epiphany, the light bulb moment, so to speak. Cut out the cheese, NO, not cut the cheese, CUT OUT the cheese.

Ya'll know that I'm back to my same ol self, being a cut up and all. So don't worry about this guy, I'm back and gonna be on track in no time.

    You know, I have been wondering about that, too (cheese)! I've been trying to figure out why, when I stay in my calorie range, when I eat a little pizza, I feel so much more sluggish....I'm sure this is it....now: How to stop the cheese on the pizza, as it's my absolute favorite food in the universe? emoticon

    Hi Tony I hope the less cheese is the answer for you. I have cut way back on it down to at the most 2 ounces a day.
    I lost over 300 pounds in less then 2 years several years ago ate Cheese lots of it the whole time but I am finding since I gained weight back that this time is different,
    It is a learning process with your Body I know for me I cannot have a salty food I ate pork rinds yesterday and had major water weight gain.
    Hang in there we can do this. emoticon

    WTG Big Guy!!

    I just kept the faith that you would be back on track pretty soon. Cheese was almost my undoing last summer!

    You can still eat it, but you must remember to count it along with the fats and sodium cheese has.

    This is why I have quietly been concerned about you re-writing all your recipes eliminating all sugars. Unless you can spend the rest of your life that way, you have to learn how to incorporate your special foods into your daily regimen.

    You can do this Tony! I will be here ready to pull or shove you along your personal track!

    P.S. Could you send some of that rain to use here in Mississippi please?
