Update from Yesterday.....

Saturday, May 30, 2009

Good Morning to all,
Just thought I'd update yesterdays post. I'm doing well. In fact, I usually take two to three days to get my blood sugars back to "a normal" readings, but I had a decent blood sugar level, I tested and was 145 and tested this morning and was 152. I'm as happy as a pig in "you know what" that I've gotten back in control of my blood sugar levels so quickly. Much better than the two to three days rebound that I used to have.
I've got a busy day today, just put on my french maid outfit to straighten the house, LOL
I can't believe that it got crooked over night, hee hee.
Stiff dodging rain drops around here, so my outdoor activities are delayed. One of my dear SP friends gave me a goodie of lawn and garden tools and wanted me to "keep them from getting rusty" like a mutual friend does. My question to her is:

How the heck can I use them without them getting rusty in THIS WEATHER? The ground will be muddy for months!!!

Ya'll have a super great weekend
I'll be dodging the raindrops in my French Maid outfit, ya wanna help me out?

Tony, alive and well in Fantasy Island

You, French maid uniform, dodging rain drops, on your tiptoes (ala Fred Flinstone). LOL!! At least you have an indoor hobby to keep you busy!

I read a blurb that cinammon can help keep blood sugar under control. "They" said taking 1/4 teaspoon per day for 40 days helped (talk to your doctor first). I have no idea if this is valid, but thought I would pass it on.

Have fun either getting rusty garden tools OR un-crookeding that house!

I'm glad that your blood sugar is doing better today. It really is a pain when it roller coasters and there are so many factors affecting it that it can be difficult trying to steady the numbers.

I hope you have fun in your maid's outfit today... I can just picture you in heels with a feather duster, lol. Don't you have a picture on your profile with you wearing a dress... should I assume that this is a hobby of yours?? emoticon

Glad you are feeling better! Maybe your new healthy lifestyle is the reason for the quick rebound this time?

I am getting sick of this cloudy, rainy, depressing weather too! The sun looks like it's trying to come out here. Hope your Saturday is Sunny!

Well your special generous SparkFriend broke her lawn mower yesterday trying to trim rocks. Thanks to this stupid rain, the grass is growing soo high that she ran over a boulder and a tree trunk that was sticking out of the ground.
    Not fun!
Just take a break from your work outside.
We all know dressing up as a French maid is what you really want to do anyway!
heeehehe. Hope you DW takes plenty of pix....
    NOT!!!!!!!!!!!
