More than an exciting blog, this is more a blog so I can look back at how far I've come in just a few months. I started my new way of thinking and new way of living on March 9th, 2009 so that's what I'll be going by in terms of weight and measurements. (I did lose a few pounds before that)

Weight -
March 9 - 290
June 10 - 262

Measurements -
Listing both measurements to more easily compare then to now...
March 9 / July 10:
Neck - 17.5 / 16
Bicep - 14 / 14
Chest - 55 / 48
Ribcage - 45 / 42
Waist - 49 / 44
Hips - 57.5 / 53
Thigh - 29 / 27.75
Calf - 17.25 / 16.25

While working on my weight by changing food, exercise and my attitude a outlook, I saw the pounds changing, but I was disappointed about the fact that the inches didn't really seem to change. But now that I see the measurements side by side, I have made some pretty good progress (though I am afraid to see my bust measurements in the future! lol).

Moral of the story - even slow progress is good progress.

UPDATE: I showed this blog to hubby and he read it, looked at me and smiled and kissed me and said, "I can tell you are smaller overall cuz I can put my arm over you in bed... that used to be hard to do." He NEVER used to "spoon" me and now I wake up occasionally to find his arms around me... that's a nice feeling.

These progress blogs are very important. When people see us everyday, they don't notice much, but when they don't see us for a few weeks, they are shocked at how much we have lost and changed.

Keep making these posts so that you can see it for yourself because we take a look at how much we have changed.

Woo Hoo! Great job girly! So proud of you! Nice that hubby can notice too and don't worry bout the boobs! They will eventually be the size they were intended and with everything else smaller they will appear bigger, no biggie! LOL Watch, I will have to wear training bras by the time I finish, but at least they won't sag? LOL!
