Skinny, Clean, and Delicious Homemade Pumpkin Latte

For those of you who love fun coffee drinks but don't want to pay Starbucks prices OR consume the crazy amounts of calories and sugar (or artificial crap) here is an easy make at home drink I have been rocking lately. It is perfect for autumn.

Homemade Pumpkin Latte (55 calories, 2g fat)
this is not overly sweet but has a delicious flavor to it, of course you can adjust everything to taste

Brew about 6 ounces coffee of your choice.

In a mug combine
-5 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk (you can sub another milk of your choice, skim, soy, etc but it will add to the calories, although still a healthy option, if your milk is sweetened you may be able to omit the extra sweetener)
-2 TBSP canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix, just pure pumpkin!)
-sprinkling of cinnamon (also helps control blood sugar!!)
-1 TSP agave nectar (I imagine honey would work just fine)

Stir all together and microwave for about two minutes. If you have a milk foamer, use that, if not just dump it in a blender and whir it around for a bit so everything gets all blended and frothy (what I did). Fill your mug with roughly equal amounts of your mixture and coffee (I used slightly more coffee), mix it up and enjoy your healthy treat!
