AN ORGANIZED NEW YEAR...

Saturday, January 02, 2010

Our Christmas break was awesome, but unfortunately, almost over. Hubby got a whole 10 days off of work (paid! never had that before!) and we used our time wisely, organizing the house. He feels great about it because we got so much accomplished. I feel spoiled because I loved spending every minute of it with him and I am sad that he has to go back to work on Monday!

Christmas went well, though a bit more chaotic than I had hoped, but still not as much as in years past so SOMETHING is working better... And our family Christmas gift was the Wii and Joe spoiled me (again...) by getting me the Wii Fit Plus bundle so I've been doing 30 minutes of exercise most days - missed a few because of organizing tasks.... But I've had fun with it and I burn about 240 calories in 30 minutes and it's not overly exhausting.

We have officially decided on Carson, though don't know a middle name yet. Probably either Jacob or Frederick (after my brother or my grandfather who has passed away). I'd love to hear your opinions on a middle name... Uh oh! We have to go to dinner with friends so hubby beckons me to get ready. Just wanted you all to hear my happy little update!

Hope you are all having a very Happy New Year!

Out of curiosity, have you look up the meanings of the names?
My vote is for Fredrick as a middle name meaning peaceful ruler.

What ever name you decide it will be wonderful.

Have you asked the baby what name he prefers. Alright, it may sound odd to you but ask the spirit of your baby what he wants to be called each night before you go to bed, until you get an answer. One morning you will wake up and you will know what his choice will be after all it is his name. Or you can play telephone with your baby. See which name he prefers.

    Just a thought

This year I had trouble finding a present for my 18 month old great niece.
I couldn't settle on anything. So I was wandering the mall and I asked her as a spirit what she wanted and presto. The next day I found the perfect gift. It was as if she lead me straight to what she wanted. I ended up getting her a baby doll that she doesn't put down. She loves it.

That has GOT to feel good...though I wouldn't know the feeling myself! Love the name Carson too, how cute is that? Have a great new year, and thanks for giving us an update! Hugs!

Hey There! Long time no chat....

Yes, your hubby spoiled you with the fit. It's got to be one of the most perfect exercise helpers out there because as long as you can stand, you can work on balance and core strength even if you don't have energy to do anything else. And I'm sure increased core strength will help with carrying Carson, delivering him, and your recovery afterwards.

I love seeing you so happy, and hope to see lots more happy posts from you!
