Day 5 Boot Camp

I'm blogging a little earlier in my day than usual. I have my first meeting with my women's running group tonight after my workout session with my personal trainer. This running group is for women in our community who will be running the Indy Mini. All of the women, except me, are part of the Mother's of Preschoolers (MOPS) program at our church. So I will be the only 'old' lady there! Yikes! They are all thin thirty somethings! Most of them are distance runners. So, I am very blessed to have been asked to train with them. Tonight is just an organizational and motivational meeting. Since I have a long night, I wanted to get my nutrition and fitness tracked ahead of time so that I can hit the bed when I get in tonight.

Activity:
5 min. Boot Camp Video (Bridges, adductors, abductors)
35 min. Elliptical
40 min. Core, Stability, Strength w/trainer

Total Time = 80 minutes

Nutrition:

Breakfast: Morningstar Breakfast Patty
2 eggs over easy
2 green onions
1 cup of milk

Lunch: 3 oz. chicken breast mixed with the following three items
1 cup whole wheat pasta
1 TBSP Feta Cheese
Diced tomatoes with blasamic vinegar & olive oil

1 red pepper cut into strips
1/4 cup pecans

Snack: Morningstar Breakfast Patty
1 Hardboiled Egg
1 Orange

Dinner: 4 oz. Tilapia Baked
1 cup basamati rice
1 cup spinach


Snack: 1 cup skim milk
1 orange

This day came in right over 1,600 calories. Woo! Hoo! My tracker is happy with me today!

    Great job on everything today. I can't wait to hear about your running club. Sounds like it is going to be fun. What is the Indy Mini? You will be a great motivator for these individuals and they can offer you some support too. Good job planning your day. You have such full days. Get your rest tonight as you don't want your body to start shutting down.

Great eating..I'm going to have to start posting my meals too...still loving your baked nuts..I added a few dried berries to the blend after they cooled down...absolutely YUM! emoticon emoticon
