Good morning! Starting my day off with a yummy eggbeaters omelette and hot tea... and my entry for the day :)
Yesterday was a good day at the gym. I did 3 miles on the treadmill at a 8:30 min pace. It is funny though, I took about 2 weeks off from running and am TOTALLY feeling it.... grumble grumble... now i am just frustrated with feeling outta shape. I know that it will take another 2 weeks to get back where I was.
Also, I have an eye infection, which prohibits me from wearing my contacts. I can't run with my glasses on, so I have resigned myself to the gym for the next couple weeks and to run in blurry-dom. Oh, well... it is actually quite the experience :) staying positive.
Today I have a 6 miler to do at a pleasant pace, which I am planning on heading over around noonish. It is amazing how good your body feels when you use it. I know how simple this may sound, but honestly, it clears the fog, it uplifts your spirits, it makes me feel like I am not just slugging along.
Also, I am working on getting the junking processed food outta my life. Baby steps... only one slip up yesterday :)
