COming to grips with life changes

I have found that it is hard to adjust to a lower exercise level and thus a lower calorie level now that I can't train because of my foot.

If I eat slow and drink water the smaller portions are OK, but I look at it and think "Mmmm, that's not enough!" I force myself to eat (slowly) what is on my plate and drink one glass of water before going back for seconds. It has worked so far.

I will be much happier when I can get out and walk distances again, though I do not anticipate going over 14 miles again.

The photos have their own page. In the Training blog there are also journal entries for the walk that I wrote just before and during the event.

Next goal: PF Chang's Rock N Roll 1/2 mile marathon.
