Twice in One Day...LOL

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

Yep. Two blogs in one day! Whoa! LOL

First, and most important, I want to thank everyone who has reponded with so much love and encouragement... it touches my heart, it's such a beautiful thing, I tear up in gratitude just knowing there are so many people out there who can help me build that positive attitude that is so important to my healing...

Then, an update.

I'm glad I have time this evening to use the PC, as it's going to be pretty hectic. My attorney advised me to get a direct deposit set up with the Social Security Administration because they should be putting my monthly payments in place very soon now and because we're moving again, the mail may not forward things properly. He doesn't want me to have to try and chase it down... sound idea. That's scheduled for Friday, the only day there would be time. I only had one appointment that day, and the SSA thing made two.

That other appointment was Friday afternoon with my rheumatologist. His office called and told me we'd have to reschedule and they had an opening for Thursday--that just happened to fall after one of my other appointments... so we did that-- which officially makes tomorrow the busiest day yet! LOL

I already had a 10:30am appointment with the oncologist and a 1:30pm appointment with my dermatologist. Add the rheumatologist at 4:30pm... Yikes. I'm trying very hard not to get tired just thinking about it! LOL

Oddly enough, a short time later I got a call from my PCP's office about the PAP--and my PCP was out of town but they had made an opening for me with one of her associates for the same time as the cancelled appointment! I went to hang up... the phone rang my hand before I had a chance to let go of it. It was the surgeon's office, saying that they had May 26 as a tentative date for the surgery, depending on when and what the results were from the PAP, and asking if I knew when the test appointment was going to be! Destiny? LOL

Things are just falling into place. It feels like everything is as it should be. Except...

It feels like I'm on a runaway train! Conductor, please, I'd like to just take a few seconds, maybe a minute, and catch my breath... LOL

Thanks, gang, for coming along on the ride! LOL

A day late reading this one. But here I am again. I'll do the tired bit for you. Just keep doing what you are; obviously God and the Universe have you in line. The beauty of SS checks being deposited is you can depend on them like clockwork. I love direct deposit. Also if the due date is a Sunday they do the electronic check on Friday. You will enjoy that element. Dependable. You can handle a bit of that I think.

Wow Kathy! That is a lot to deal with. I'll be thinking of you and hope that you can find the brake handle for your runaway train soon. Feel better soon seems like such an understatement for someone going through as much as you are, but I hope that the surgery is a huge success and that your recovery is brief.

Boy--take a few days off from reading Spark mail, and look what happens. You can't just take it slow! Hope everything goes well for you. I'll be a little more diligent in checking in.
