Hi everybody!!! Thanks for tuning in. I have had a less than desirable re-entry into the world of Spark. Some of you may already know this. But don’t feel bad for me…. I am all good. I know that I will come around soon and it will happen. I have all this incredible knowledge from my previous time spent in the Spark world to help me along the way. I also have my dear ol’ friends and many new friends, what a great and uplifting place to visit every day!
So I decided to go back and read my blogs from the beginning… wow! This is an excerpt from my very first blog:

I have several things that I would like to accomplish:
1. I want to be able to jog
2. I want to tie my shoe so the bow is in the middle (not on the side)
3. I want to paint my own toenails
4. I want to look into a mirror and feel sexy.
5. I want to ride a bike
6. I would like to be attractive enough to be asked out to dinner or a movie
7. I want to get rid of my 1X wardrobe
8. I would like to kick my one last vice....smoking (ewww it is nasty!!)
Even though I have slipped backwards I can still say that I have accomplished all but number 5. Although, number 3 is getting iffy again, lol.
I know that I need to be “re-sparked”, I need some excitement. I found it thanks to Cheryl (CHAIMANN). She has no idea that she provided a little bit of excitement in her blog about bicycles. I have always wanted to be a runner and a rider.
This bike is all she said it was! Hip retro styling, enhanced stability and sweet, sweet ride!! Lowered seat height allows the rider to put their feet flat on the ground. But the price!! My Lord!! That could never happen for me. I wouldn’t give up- I prayed for some way that this could happen for me. I am a dreamer… that I am.
Well, last weekend my brother paid me back part of a loan I gave to him AND for the first time ever I went on Craig’s list, yesterday to see if I could find anything even close to the bike Cheryl mentioned in her blog. I am just itching to get a bike that I could enjoy riding… I want it soooo bad!!
Now I can be a bike rider… I am proud to report that I am now the owner of an Electra Townie 21…. Oooooohhhhh ahhhhhhh!! I called about an ad on craigslist, got the info about the bike, called a local bike shop and asked about it. The bike shop said that it sounded like a good deal.
Yes I think it is kind of an ol lady bike (sorry Cheryl). I did ask my 11 year old son if I would look like an old lady when I rode. He said that I would be the hottest mom ever! (Gotta love that answer!) But to tell you the truth, I have had a bad spill on a bike in the last couple of years, thought I would never get on one again!
I am so excited!!! I can’t wait to get on that baby and ride!! I confess that when the boy went to bed last night, I went out to the garage and took her out for a spin. It felt so right!
