feeling fat!

Thursday, June 03, 2010

yesterday i went to a local grocery store and ordered chicken chow mein! not a small order, but a LARGE order! i was feeling tired, frustrated, irritated and a little hungry; altho, i wasn't really hungry!

i mean, i could have come home and had something here; but, no, i didn't do that! and the worse part of that is the chow mein wasn't even that good! i ate over 2,000 calories yesterday AND TODAY I FEEL BLOATED AND FAT AND VERY MUCH LIKE A FULL BLOWN FAILURE!!

chow mein has sooooo many calories! emoticon anyway! today i am going to stay - TRY TO STAY - within the lower part of my calorie range and drink a lot of water so that maybe i can undo some of that damage! emoticon

so since yesterday is already gone i will stay focused ...VERY FOCUSED....on today! emoticon

i just hate that bloated feeling! emoticon

i found a new quote that says: OUR LIVES ARE DEFINED NOT BY THE CHALLENGES WE ENCOUNTER, BUT BY HOW WE RESPOND TO THOSE CHALLENGES.

thank you for stopping by! emoticon and as always, i wish you continued success. emoticon pauline

Hi Pauline! Your story could have been mine! Many times, finding myself really out of sorts, I throw caution to the wind and eat myself silly. emoticon And, you're right; the food I choose never tastes as good as I think it will!

I echo what ZOOLOVER and LOPEYP said in their comments to you about letting yesterday go and focus on today... It took me years to learn that, but I think I've got it now!

Chinese food always make me bloated. Keep drinking the water and you'll be better quickly. Looks like you've it down not to beat yourself up for the mistakes of yesterday. Stay on plan and you'll do fine. We all have days when we mess up, that's why we're humans and not gods. Have a great day.

chinese food is a tough thing to have when you are trying to lose weight. I think chop suey has less calories (for next time).
Yesterday is done and gone. You can't change it. Sounds like you have moved on - that's great!
