Today I ate light all day. Special K bars for breakfast, turkey sandwich at lunch, lots and lots of water. My only splurge was my morning Redbull. Yes, I know energy drinks are terrible for me, but I work 50 hour weeks and 10 hour days and I hate hate hate coffee. :)
Then after work I went to Urban Active to workout on the elliptical. I went to the movie theater room which was really cool. Not only do I get to be in the dark where no one can see my body parts jiggling, but I also stayed on the elliptical longer than I normally would have because I wanted to see what would happen next in the movie!!
I was driving home from the gym and was absolutely ravished!! Sooooooo starving!! I remembered we have a box of Velveeta shells and cheese in the cupboard that I have been avoiding like the plague since I started watching what I eat because of the high calories and carbs. But is sounded DELICIOUS after a long workout! So I made it when I got home and shared with the boyfriend. The good news is that I used my measuring cup and actually measured out one serving. I entered all my nutrition info for the day and I did go over in carbs a bit unfortunately, but I stayed within my calorie goals! Woot! So glad I used the measuring cup-I usually just fill my plate and eat it all and then feel like absolute crap afterward. This time I was satisfied without being full. Now I just need to run around the house a bit during commercials of shows tonight to burn off a few more of those shells!
Have a good night everyone!!

Hey Pixie!...Do I ever know where you are coming from!...I ,too, love, love ,love mac. and cheese! I avoid it most of the time, but, every couple of weeks I give in!...I really admire you for measuring your serving. I still tend to eat way too much of it. It sounds to me as if you have your head on straight and I just know that you are going to reach your goals! Mona 4013 days ago
