Where's YibYab: The Final Solution

Saturday, July 03, 2010

CTINAARTISTA's guess (and SCHMEVELYN's 2nd) was not me, but our team's best runner, John Morrin.

Not right, but I sure would have liked to have been able to run as fast as he could.

But no. I was on the B squad, which was mostly freshmen and sophomores. And sadly, because I guess I had an ego and didn't want to be B squad again as a senior, I didn't run with the team my final year. Dumb.

JILLIANPRNCSS picked out a freshman...I think his name was Phil.

I was a babyface, yes; but not that babyfaced...I don't think.

FREEDOMSTAR got it right on his first gut reaction, though it was his 2nd guess. I'm the kid with the Tom Petty hair and the Nike Oregon Waffle racers, which I still have to this day. (The racing flats, not the hair, that is.)

Ah, if only I had my drive and motivation then that I have now. I might have actually been a good harrier.

Thanks all for going down Memory Lane with me.

Great pictures! I ran track to stay in shape for soccer. Me thinks the old knees would have lasted longer had I hung up the cleats and stayed on the road, LOL!
