Surprise!

Friday, July 30, 2010

I've been on a plateu for a long time...weight hasn't changed...

I'm eating well, drinking my water, and feeling bette, but that scale, is my enemy. emoticon

I was in a hurry to get to one of my study groups yesterday and grabbed a skirt on the way. I'd purchased two of them just after I started with Spark.

Now, I normally won't purchase something that I can't wear, but these were *really cute*. They were identical blue jean skirts except for size. One was a size 16...I remember it was a little tight, but looked good. I remember purchasing the 14 with the hopes that I'd be into it soon...but the challenges arrived rapidly.

It's become one of my go-to skirts in the summerit's no longer tight, it shows my legs. and it's comfortable! I pair the skirt with a dressier top and I've got a business casual look that I can handle all day at school.

That's what I did yesterday. I paired my favorite skirt with a dressy fusha knot front blouse and headed off to school....When I finally came home last night from class and the second study group of the day I went to slip shorts on under the skirt to go walking and found I couldn't slip them up to the waist.

I took off the skirt and figured out why. I'm wearing the smaller size, comfortably. I hadn't even noticed!

Can't argue with surprises like that! Thank you all for being here with me!
