2 Months with Spark People

Its now 2 months since I joined spark people. I am now eating a healthy diet and tracking my nutrition every day.
I am exercising more. Doing aerobics and yoga every morning. Walking twice a day, including up hill. Strength training and weight lifting, 3 times a week. I can now walk up the hill without stopping for breath, or sitting on the seat at the top.
I have lost 12 lb in the 2 months with spark and I am no longer considered obese. I am now "overweight".
My waist measurement has gone down from 42 inches to 36 inches and my hips are down from 44 inches to 38.5 inches. I still have a long way to go. I have grown small muscles in my arms and my thighs and calves have reduced in size. I can now get my winter boots zipped up, they were too tight before. I can also tie up my own shoelaces when standing up, if they come undone. My husband used to do it before.
I have a lot more energy and I am sleeping better at night. My confidence has grown and I am no longer a mouse. Not afraid to stop and talk to people when I am out now. Before, I used to feel self-concious about my weight.
I would like to thank all my friends on spark people for giving me encouragement, It has helped me a lot on my journey. I look forward to my next month on spark and a new set of mini goals. I always enjoy reading other peoples blogs and visiting their pages.
Spark teams have also been an important part of my journey and I will continue to participate in them and enjoy the weekly digests.
