A Great Day!

I'm thinking my body has finally gotten rid of MOST of the Niaspan, because this morning there is no dizziness, no nausea (not even the lupus stuff! LOL), and I'm getting some of my energy back--not that there was all that much LOL but I do feel like I can get my routine back in order now.
My blood sugars aren't quite there yet, though. It does concern me a bit, but I've been talking to my doctor and he doesn't want to change insulin doses until a couple of weeks have gone by: he believes it will resolve itself as I get back into my normal regimen. I hope so, I know the numbers are better but I don't like that they are still high enough to cause damage...
On the other hand, this little 'shake-up' has been a good thing in that it has made me re-evaluate the things I'm doing to get to my goals. I have some 'step-ups' to do! LOL
I do have to take baby steps, but I know they work. A baby step is SO much better than standing still, and now that I'm not dizzy and sick anymore, today is a great day to get started!
P.S. Mary, get better soon girl!
