Sometimes you just need a do over...

This actually isn't my first time on Sparkpeople.com. I was on here off and on as LosingAmber. Late last year I debated a little about deleting my account and starting over. I was feeling a mix of things. I was tired of my user name for one. I know I could have went in and changed it but that wasn't it fully.

I was mostly tired of seeing in my blog all the stops and starts. What it comes down to is sometimes you just want a do over, a fresh start. I was tired of seeing every few months me coming back and saying... I'm back! Sorry I haven't posted, blah, blah. It was a reminder to myself of all the times I've given up before. Now I am well aware this is a life time journey and I'm ok with that. Life is going to have its ups and downs and that is fine.

At any rate here I am now. I'm also making today my first official day of the 21 day Metabolism Makeover from the Food Lovers Fat Loss Plan. The first day is to snack between meals. It sounds odd but making a point to eat every 2-3 hours has shown to me how bad my habits had become. Goofy habits of not eating when I know better and I know what it can do to your metabolism.

I have high hopes for this program though as its not a restrictive diet in the least but will help teach me how to eat for my metabolism. I'm excited to see the changes that are due to come this year. I've been needing a change but I realize only I can actually make it happen and I'm ready for it!
