It is early in the morning. I am up before anyone else but the dogs. I love this quiet time it is rare for me, and is so pleasing. Yesterday I cooked my hubby's and my daughters boyfriends birthday dinner. They wanted Ham, Mashed Potatoes, Creamed Corn, and no bake cookies for dessert. Well, you can probably guess where my diet went yesterday. It was a great day though, to see the family smiling and enjoying themselves. Today we will get back on track and on focus. I think my dieting is becoming easier for me to handle. Now if I can just get the fitness to start doing the same. LOL

There is a bad storm coming in, so I am thinking I will head into work, and spend the night in my office, because I have a special event in the morning to get done. If I have any staff call in that will throw a wrench in my routine, so I will need to get a start on what actually is necessary to be done/due. I hate leaving my house in times like these but I have other people that I share responsibility for. No matter it will be what it is. I will feel good in the end of what I am doing and why I am doing it. I only want people healthy and safe.

Stay warm folks. God Bless you all!!

I did the birthday dinner myself yesterday. Our daugheter Alyssa wanted to make me dinner for my birthday, she's 10. As you may guess she made what she would like, pigs in a blanket, taco salad and chocolate cake...my diet took a day off. Thats okay, she felt good about what she did, we all had a wonderful day and in the big scheme of things the memories were worth the calories.

I also received 2 fantastic books....Stormie Omartian's "A Little Book Of Powerful Prayers" and Joyce Meyer's "Life In The Word".

    Have a wonderful weekend!!
