Monday - Workout complete!

I had a good workout this morning. Friday I started with Wii Active 2 and it is a lot of fun. Right now I have it set on easy and its still getting me to break a sweat.

The only thing I don't like is that the calorie count at the end of the workout is burning just over 115 or so calories for 20 minutes. I really like to get in at least 200 calories a workout. Nothing out there states you can't do more than one activity in a day so afterwards I got on my stationary bike for 16 or so minutes to burn off another 120 or so calories. My thinking is if I'm doing a brisk walk it has me burn at least 217 or so calories in about 30-40 minutes so I should put in the same time/effort on Wii Active days.

I like that I've made up my mind to push myself a little more. I like that I'm making myself a priority in this. Frankly I'm not happy with the turn my body has taken in these last few years and I know that is my fault. Its time to wipe that slate clean, forgive myself, and move on. Every day I take time to do something for myself I'm undoing the past and moving on to a better future. That is all I can ask of myself.
