Survey says.......... !

So. Yeah. Survey says... "Not a chance yet, chubby!"

Got the 12's from Torrid today, where I was hoping the one style would fit (since my 14's are loose) and..... no. lol. I will not be the one chick that is at 200 pounds that fits into a size 12! :) I probably could get them to close if I laid on the bed, but by all that is good and holy, that muffin top would have been a killer! Seeing myself trying to bend my fat to my will was both amusing and horrific. So another 15 pounds and they should be fitting nicely. The other pair had no hope as it is around 1 size down (so I'd say these are tens), but they were 5 bucks, so on the wall they go.

The top I ordered was tight, but wearable. It didn't flow well and I know I would have had I ordered another size. In a way I am really glad that these don't fit/well, as I need a goal outfit to work towards. And this would be it. Of course my luck, by the time everything fits nice and well, it'll be well into summer. :)

Ah, my over inflated sense of self! It's good though to keep it real when your mind is urging you to run along with your imagination.

Speaking of running...

I decided I was going to run to my moms today since it was 55 outside, then go to the gym. My luck, it started getting cold and raining the moment I left the house. I did my mile in likely somewhere between 13-14 minutes. Considering that the path to my moms has this huge freaking hill? No so bad. Plus i am still sick, so it's okay. Took a breather, and did a different way home. Thought that it was only a mile in that direction, and kept getting upset at myself that I wasn't home yet. Pushed myself and was breathing hard by the time I got in the door. Clock said 19:00.

For a mile?! Decided to map the distance, and turns out my mile was more like 1.89 miles. I am not a math person, but doesn't that mean that my mile was under 13 minutes? :)

Had a nice dinner and will be trying to gear myself up for yoga meltdown. Then tomorrow it will be Shred and belly dancing , then Sunday is running day. We'll see if I can't go back to my 'long' runs.

Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend!

Edit: I double checked this morning just for giggles... and the one pair of 12's (with 1 percent stretch) FIT!! Muffin top a hoy, so these will not be worn out until I lose 10-15 pounds. I guess I do retain water when I run :)
