I completed (ok didn't do the running) the 100 workout. I only have 30-35 min of gym time after work and before school and wasn't sure what I wanted to do so I took on the challenge of this workout. I wasn't sure if I should start with the running, which I blogged I would yesterday, however I opted instead to start at the highest and work my way down.

100 jumping jacks pretty easy but I recommend a good sports bra to tie the girls down

90 crunches - I did three different types - 1 set of 30 on the bench w/feet anchored, 30 using 35 lb weights with the vertical tower and 30 on the floor

80 squats - did this in 4 sets of 20 each and while challenge because it is out of my norm I only stopped once for water, lol

70 leg lifts, guessed this was lying leg lifts which I have a tough time with because my thighs love to get in on the action, broke it into a few sets and I am feeling it today in my lower abs/groin area

60 jumping jacks

50 crunches - straight standard crunches - when I do this again think I will do V-ups or something out make it more challenge

40 squats - again sets - 2 of 20 each

30 leg lifts - 2 sets of 15

20 jumping jacks

from here I showered and dressed for school and had to hustle for the bus which was ok.

Today, post workout. . . . thighs are a little sore from the squats and the mid/lower abs are feeling it however it isn't horrible, just a little stiff in the legs and ache. Its a nice feeling, haven't experienced it in a while. Will I do the workout again, with the 10 min running, Yes!!! Don't get me wrong it was a challenge but that is something I personally need and seems to really excel when faced with a challenge. I like to proof the nah sayers wrong!

As for school, it was an interesting night. We taste tested stout as part of a classmates paper in environmental science and my cost teacher proceed to tell me he doesn't see a bakery working. WOW! Ballsy bastard - he is an old man who just annoys me, and now I must prove him wrong, open the shop and be a success so I can rub his nose in it like the puppy who peed on the carpet. I know it shouldn't really matter but it does. It really irks me that he can just be so oh it wont work versus encouraging a student to pursue their dream. His entire attitude toward the class matter is bad enough but that comment last night, oh boy. Anyway on an up note I only have two more classes with him and that's it so I will grin and bear it, keeping our head high and I will succeed at my dream shop.

Fitness plan today: my usual walking, maybe some light weights w/core tonight when I change otherwise nothing really until tomorrow. Feeling a need for a break, should work on preparing for the finals tomorrow anyway. We shall see how I feel later. Most likely I will do a little core using the vertical tower or the ab machine and then some bicep curls and tricep extension or something

Either way I am going to be moving!!!

    Wow, that sounds like a fun workout! I may have to try that one myself... I found a cool website where this lady posts her daily workouts and they are pretty extreme but mostly body-weight exercises. Her website is BodyRock.tv and everything she posts is free and she has a workout called the 550. There are 11 exercises that you do 50 reps (each side) for. It's amazing, although I'm not yet in shape to be able to handle it!
