Veggifying My Diet and Upping My Activity

I'm back to Veggifying My Diet. Less meat and cheese, and more veggies. It's easy to do because I love vegetables, but I often have trouble remembering my commitment when I'm standing hungry in front of an open, well-lit fridge.
Doc says that my cholesterol and triglyceride numbers are creeping up, and that doesn't sound like a positive trend. 'Creeping' is not a good word at any time!
So today's breakfast was three small chicken meatballs and a bowl full of cooked mushrooms, zucchini and onions.
Lunch was coffee and a bowl of whole wheat pasta with olives, pesto, a sprinkling of Asiago and some tomato sauce.
Snacks at the theatre tonight were a Kashi Trail Mix bar and a baggie of cut-up orange & yellow peppers, followed by a midnight treat of butternut squash (yes, a whole squash) with 1 tsp of brown Splenda. All that, plus water, water, water all day long, and now I feel virtuous and satisfied.
As for Upping My Activity, I took Charlie the Wonder Dog on two walks today (at least 35 minutes each); I picked up branches from my yard (yes, and dog poop too!) and filled a brown paper yard bag with the fruits of my labour; I spent 40 minutes at the driving range for the first time this season.
By following my common sense, I should be able to maintain my uncommonly substantial weight loss (from 225 down to 163'ish) & good health achievements.
I can, I am and I will!

    Good plan! I love butternut squash, roasted with cut up onion and carrot. I could make a meal out of that.
