Mind over Matter

There's nothing like "LIFE" to get in the way of my fitness goals...ugh! My whiny mind was already coming up with excuses as to why I was not going to be able to fit in my exercising this week as I was waiting at the doctors office with my daughter. There I was , my daughter had broken her 5th metatarsal at school the previous day and now I knew we would be going to see several doctors over a couple of days in the morning....yeah in the morning which is when I like to do my exercise!!! UGH!! THEN.....I caught myself and thought ...wow...STOP IT! My fitness goals can be met as long as I learn to STOP coming up with reasons and excuses about how LIFE just gets in the way!!! A FLEXIBLE thought process and adaptable attitude is IMPORTANT! There is always a way to fit exercise in...yes routine is important but more so is the ability to improvise when LIFE
gets in the way. So I say MIND OVER MATTER!!!!! I can control my thought process to accomplish what needs to be done no MATTER what happens day in and day out!!!!
