100 days of exercising! Really!

Wednesday, June 22, 2011

I'm so happy with myself for reaching a milestone of 100 days of exercising. I can no longer say that I'm not able to be consistent. I'm going to keep going at it. I can tell that my exercise has paid off even though the scale hasn't changed much. Clothes that didn't fit now fit again. My back feels great. And I think my overall energy level and mood is improved too. I've heard it said that if doctors could make exercise pills and bottle them that they would be very rich because of all the benefits of exercise. I've always known that exercise is good for you but I don't think I realized how good consistent exercise feels. So to all of you comtemplating an exercise streak "go for it!"

Good advice. I wish I could be that consistent. I don't have anyone to keep me accountable and push me out the door. I can always find an excuse. Do you have a secret that kept you motivated?

You are so right about exercise! I don't lose weight from exercise but if I don't do it, I get grumpy, stressed, and eat more. No Exercise = weight gain :-( Congrats on the streak. That is awesome! What a way to make it become a habit. I keep trying to develop streaks but never get very far. Perhaps I'll try one small one at a time.

.Congrats!!!! That is so inspiring to here. I need to get an exercise struck going but the 12 .5 hr shifts make it hard. I know if I put my mind to it 10-15 min I could manage! You've given the boost I needed. Again AWESOME AWESONE AWESOME!!!!!
