Some of the reason for my weight gain has been due to my declining health. In this last year alone I gained almost 25 lbs of which I had lost 10 and gained back 5.
Now 5 weeks into the sparking mode , I have lost 7 lbs and though I wish it had been more, I WIll TAKE IT!!!! I primarily started to exercise again because I needed to gain my strength and endurance back and it is coming back, however I need to take a little break again. I have to have surgery in 10 days and will probably not be able to exercise for a couple of weeks!
I will stick to eating well and hope for the best during my recuperation period. I know I need to be patient, slowly but surely I will accomplish all that I am envisioning. My body is on a different timeline and so I must practice PATIENCE!!! As hard as that is, I do understand that it needs to be a part of my weight loss program in order for it to be successful. So , for now I will do what I can !!!!!!!

Sounds like you have the right attitude...just keep at it, and you will succeed.

You once told me that even if I had to take a break, because I had exercised my body in the past, my body would "remember" where it left off, and it would not be that difficult to train again. I loved when you said that.
I remembered it when I needed too, and I took it to heart. It works just like you said. You won't gain weight if you eat properly and you can strength train and get your cardio in whenever your body is truly ready. Best of luck with your surgery and Godspeed in recovery.

Patience is something I struggle with sometimes myself, so I hear you. But you have to take care of yourself - just don't forget us when you're able to return! Best of luck with the surgery!!!
