My left knee seems to be FUBAR. I think I was so excited about the Amazing race, I may have overdid it. I have tried almost everything to make it better, but it does not seem to want to play :(. It's been paining me for over a month now. I've tried rest, stretching, elevating and then I remembered some things a chiropractor once told me and I did that as well. I'm fixing to by a new book on Amazon and a new knee brace and heating pad.
When I worked with Chiropractor's, they told me about trigger points and how our silly muscles sometimes would not get the signal to relax. I'm wondering if this is what I'm dealing with to the inth degree. There seems to be a supper tight muscle or tendon coming off the inside of the knee that is as tight as a bowstring. The way that they would deal with those unruly muscles was to find the trigger point and just dig in them as hard as they could until the muscle finally got the message that... hey... it's ok to relax now. I've been stripping and pressing on that muscle for about a week now and i can't seem to get it to relax. I'm getting really frustrated, because I love to walk and work out but I do not like pain. :(
