Hubby's on Board!!!

Yippie IO Ki Yay!!! I have found that it is real hard to fight an addiction when you are living with an addict who is practicing that addiction. I finally got my hubby on board with the Spark Diet and so for so great. We are going full tilt with the Spark Meal Plans and I must say, they are good! Hubby came home from work yesterday and I handed him a stir fry and he asked how long we were going to continue with the gourmet food. Lol. He was worried about prep time, but I told him it¡¦s a stir fry, quick and easy and man o man tasty. Later for a snack we had asparagus wrapped in bacon. Wow. Talk about good and quick and easy. Sheesh. This is NOT dieting ƒº It¡¦s just eating good.
It looks like I¡¦ll be grocery shopping every Friday on Payday. I was a tad worried when the bill was $198, which is half of that week¡¦s paycheck. Then I did the math. That was for two people for a whole week and a couple of items that will last longer than a week and/or extras. So even at the full amount, that is only $14 per person per day. That¡¦s breakfast, lunch, dinner & snack! That is so cheap. You can hardly get through a fast food meal these days for that price. A single meal.
I¡¦ve been struggling for a long time. And I had a setback when my knee started acting up. I know they say you have to do it for yourself and blah blah blah. And that is true. But to have the person you are living with on board makes all the difference in the world. We quit smoking together over five years ago. And when we did, we gained a lot of weight. Now we will kick this weight together. I know that we will help each other and keep each other on track. The hardest part will be cooking every day. It¡¦s so easy to just drive through. But the food at the drive through is not near as good and it¡¦s expensive.
So yea! Great things will be happening.
