First things first..
It's been about a year or so since I started on my lifestyle change. In that time, I've taken off around 75 pounds.
There is not a day that goes by that I don't wish I had commited fully much sooner, years even. Since I can not go back and turn the clock around, the best thing for me now is to continue to make sure that never happens again.
Soooo.. I decided that I was going to re-do my kitchen wall. Erm?
My kitchen wall normally has an item or two of clothing hanging on it to keep my motivation consistant. Since most of my misgivings seem to happen in the kitchen or choices made inside of it...
There have been three things (not including my ultimate goal dress) that have hung on that wall that didn't fit at the time, but now are going in 'too big' land. What I have on there now are a pair of size 11's from aeropostal (100 percent cotton )that give me a muffin top of epic portions. It should be motivating me hard core, and trust me, not having a muffin top in those pants is motivating.. but not as much as it should.
I decided I needed to step it up... so I made a ticker. Yes, like on your spark page.. but I made it out of construction paper and put it IN MY KITCHEN! :)
Forgive the pictures here.. I made this in 15 minutes with construction paper and crayons borrowed from my sproglets and stuck it on the wall. I didn't realize it was crooked until later and its now fixed!
It's halloween themed for two reasons. One, I
halloween. For serious. Second, there might be a possible trip around that time frame... and if so, it would be great to be at goal or passed goal! I also kinda wanted the excuse to make and use that little mickey mouse jack-o-latern that will serve as the moving part of my ticker. :D
I also made this in mind that if it needs to be extended, I can do that no problem. Infact, I did make a few more things to add onto the end which will make it supah cute. :) As it stands now, this gives me a 5 pound weight loss to shoot for each month to make it in the end. Am I going to try my hardest to beat that out and add onto the wall? You BET!
Hopefully this is reasonable, and will help me really kick it up this week into over drive!
