I'm starting w/the woman in the mirror.

Saturday, December 17, 2011

Good day peeps. As I sit up in bed with my iPhone light blinding me-causing me to type with one eye opened I am amazed at how I can continue on this journey.

Despite all of life's obstacles, I am still chasing my goals; realizing along the way that only I can stop the progression of my goals. Not the challenges along the way. I have witnessed what happens when you give up or cave into mindless acts of shenanigans when it comes to food and exercise.

It's a new day for me. I've coached myself and others toward achieving success. As a principal of a staff of 70, I am on display everyday, every moment of my life. I look at myself in the mirror and I see a person who lacks self control when it comes to eating and NOT burning what I consume. I see someone who lacks balance between others, work, and caring for self. I'm starting with the woman in the mirror and asking her to change her ways.

I am making the world a better place! This will not be a difficult journey. I have all of the necessary tools and willpower to be successful.

Changing my ways,

emoticon That song has all the words, so I had to check what you were going to say...good philosophy... I once had a principal that must have been 350 lbs (and that may be conservative) I think you would command more respect when you look like you are in control of your body as well as everything else..

I also lack balance between work and caring for myself. Your blog really resonates with me. Take a look at yourself and make a change...right?
