Dodged the Bullet and Thank you Spark Friends

After my indulgences this week the thought of stepping on the scale was terrifying. Followed my restrictive diabetic diet but overate at dinner times. Wednesday and Thursday the calorie count had to be in the upper 2,000 or lower 3,000 range. Up until then I had been following a 1,200 daily calorie regime. My weight had not dropped in 2 weeks. Well, voila! Must have been magic because I lost 2 pounds. I checked 3 times to be sure the scale was calibrated properly. What a difference the scale can make in one's mood!
When I wrote my overeating blogs I was mortified, embarrassed, and angry at myself. Those who commented made me feel that I was still ok. It was such a burden lifted to be able to write about the bad and ugly of the week and to have it accepted. Thank you all.
