BL LIME TEAM GOALS FOR SUMMER 2012 CHALLENGE

I'M CHANGING THE FOCUS FROM WEIGHT LOSS TO MAKING OTHER CHANGES IN MY LIFE.

THE MAIN THING I AM DOING IS WORKING ON MY PHYSICAL HEALTH. I'M ACCOMPLISHING THIS BY DOING PHYSICAL THERAPY FOR MY KNEES AND BACK ISSUES. THIS IS COMING ALONG. I NOW DO MY EXERCISING IN THE POOL SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK. I WORK LOTS ON CORE STRENGTH AND MAJOR MUSCLE STRENGTH.

I AM ALSO FINDING WAYS TO DEAL WITH MY CHRONIC PAIN. CURRENTLY I'M TRYING NEW MEDICATIONS AND A TENS UNIT.

I'M BEING KIND TO MY BODY AND APPRECIATING ALL IT DOES AND CONTINUES TO DO FOR ME.

THINGS I STRIVE TO ACCOMPLISH DAILY...

* GIVE GRATUITIES & PRAYER

* EAT HEALTHY FOODS EVERY 4 HOURS---STARTING WITH BREAKFAST

* TAKE MEDS

* EAT AT LEAST 5 FREGGIES

* 12 GLASSES OF WATER

* 7 HOURS OF SLEEP, 8 IS BETTER

* CONTINUE WITH MY POOL THERAY/ EXERCISES

* SMILE AND LAUGH OUT LOUD

I BELIEVE ONCE MY PAIN IS RELIEVED AND MY BODY STRONGER, MY DAILY LIFE WILL GET EASIER. I WILL DO MORE AND FEEL SO MUCH MORE ACCOMPLISHED:)

    Keep smiling! And I second a previous poster check out some yoga poses. There are some that are gentle and relaxing and others that are harder and will give you more of a stretch.

    My favorite goal of yours is to laugh out loud! I need to add that one to my list.
    I have lived with lower back pain for several years. I have to take pain med before working out at the gym. I think taking care of yourself is the first step! You can do this!
