I need to decide on a smart goal. My smart goal will be to lose 20 pounds in the next 12 weeks. Yes...this will be difficult, but anything worth having is worth working for! will I have to make sacrifices? ABSOLUTELY!!
To achieve this goal I will have to stay focused...That means no driving through McDonalds...or any other fast food restaurant. That means saying no to cookies, cake, ice cream, and other high carb treats.
to be more specific....I will stay under 35 carbs daily. I will do this by packing my lunch and snacks with high protein, low carb foods. I will focus on eating meat, cheese, eggs, peanuts, and salads. these are all foods on my meal plan.
I will also exercise at least five days a week. I will stop at the walk track on the way home as much as possible. I will also incorporate strength training into my exercise program. I will do at least 10 minutes of strength training each day....focusing on a different body part each day.
when I get frustrated and/or discouraged I will lean my the Phoenix team for support and encouragement. they will be the support system THWT gets me through my low points.
ollowing this plan will allow me to be successful and meet my smart goal!
