I have now spent the better part of two weeks working on my Bar Application. At this point I am down to 17 errors on the 47 questions.
The Michigan the Bar Application includes such questions as:
Where have you resided for more than two weeks since you were 16...and what where the dates?
Where have you worked (or interned, or volunteered) for more than two weeks since you were 16? What were the complete addresses? What were the dates?
This comes after Career and Professional Development has gone through and torn my resume down to one page. So I can't just pull everything from my resume, and my primary computer has died, so I can't go back and refer to some of the dates on it. I really can't remember some of my employers...when did I work for that lawyer--I only worked for him for a couple weeks but what year?
If I accidentally miss ANY detail Character and fitness can consider it intentional and keep me from passing the bar.
Yeah, this is why lawyers get paranoid.
