In light of the NYC marathon being canceled (and thus all of my training that I have been doing all summer culminating in a non-marathon), I am refocusing for the winter.
I had my VO2 mx and lactate threshold studies done last week, and I am instructed to train in my Zone 1 for the next month.
Stats for today: Zone 1 (122-145 HR) 1 mile took 13:02.
I felt as if I was barely moving, but apparently is the way to gain speed is to maximize this zone for the next mo.
