Dietbet #2 is Done and Won!

My 2nd Dietbet ended this morning and I made weight in.
I'm not sure what my money winnings will be yet but because I made sure to tweet with a particular hashtag I also won a Naturebox. That should be fun to receive!
As a "reward" and since I had really been clean the last few days I got breakfast at McDonalds. I haven't had fast food in a few weeks and while it was good I feel quite gross right now. I guess that is a good thing really. It helps to show myself that I can leave those things and don't need them. I feel way better after breakfast when I stick with a protein/fruit smoothie, greek yogurt/strawberries, or something else that is light. Way, way better.
I'm looking to jump into another dietbet maybe as soon as Friday. I don't want to wait until next week because I'm thinking certain monthly events are on their way. I don't want the weigh in from the 3rd bet to coincide with when that will roll around next month. How complicated LOL.
Its interesting. I went from unsure about Dietbet to being addicted to it in a way. By having those small goals and small periods in which to achieve them seems to be working for me. I also really hate the idea of losing my own money and love the idea of potentially gaining more. I guess its all in what you need for motivation.
I'm not too concerned about the upcoming holidays either. I really think Dietbet will keep me on track. I'm just smart enough to know that if my weigh in will be around the 10th or so of the month I'll be able to indulge at Thanksgiving...just not go crazy with it. Really isn't that what we have been taught all along? Its good to have all things but in moderation? These are ideas that I've known all along but are really starting to sink in. I guess it has to do with the fact that there is consequence if I am not careful.
Gosh fast food makes me feel gross and bloated.
