A pretty successful Tuesday...

Tuesday, December 11, 2012

I forgot that I had intended to do walk/jog intervals on my second 1.5mile lap around the neighborhood. I was in my walking zone and bouncing along to good music. Oopsie.

So I added a 30 minute cardio video instead. And wow! I definitly got my heartrate up and sweated out what felt like a good portion of the water I had already drank this morning! But I was able to get through most of the video... and the parts where I felt like I had to take a break, I just marched in place to keep moving and shake out my muscles. But I did good!

And I normally have problems getting all the servings of fruits and veggies that is recommended. Today I came within one serving of the recommended :) I had a fruit smoothie for breakfast (banana, blue berries, and strawberries) and I had two servings of veggies with lunch, then instead of syrup on pancakes(dinner) I had strawberries. Yummy! The pancakes were the only kind of bread I had today...

I noticed that so far this week I am eating a bit more calories and not staying quite as close to the low end of the allowances... Not necessarily a bad thing, but I need to remind myself to watch what I eat and keep my portions reasonable.

Went shopping with Mom today, spend more than two hours wandering around stores finding stocking stuffers and gifts for the younger cousins... does shopping count as exercise? 'Cause my feet hurt after all that...
