Overcoming the Case of "I don't want to" - Part II

It was a long full day at work. Everybody was irritable (to include me). This area is bracing for as a friend of mine has so aptly put it "Blizzard of Oz." Another 6-12" of snow expected to fall on the already 6" still on the ground from last week. Understandably, patience levels are low.

Although truthfully, we only see this kind of snowfall once or twice a year. So, we really are spoiled.

Nonetheless, the anticipated storm coupled with a true Monday at work easily led to "I don't want to" - part II.

My reasons for not going to the gym: (1) Snow storm is coming in; (2) it's cold, (3) I really just want to go home.

Did I go? Yes because (1) Snow hasn't started yet (2) gym is on the way home (3) it will still be cold even if I don't go to the gym (4) I want to go home rested from the workday.

Day two of "I don't want to" has been defeated and replaced with "I did it anyway."
