New Habits

Saturday, March 02, 2013

As a part of this week's 5% Winter to Spring Challenge we are charged with blogging about breaking a bad habit or developing a new habit. So here goes...I am a procrastinator. In the last couple of months I have consciously noticed the amount of energy I use to think about doing something later versus the amount of energy it takes to just do it. So I want to just do things, get rid of the excuses or thoughts that something will be easier to do if I do it later. More often than not it is easier to do it now.

To start, this morning I was up and needed to exercise for my Biggest Loser Challenge. Instead of sitting around most of the day avoiding the exercise like I tend to do, I changed into my workout clothes and just did it. I was amazed at the amount of energy I had afterwards and what I accomplished the rest of the day.

Great job!!! With that kind of attitude I'm sure you will kick this bad habit.
I do the same thing.... I get dressed in the morning straight into my workout clothing.

I find if I put on my exercise clothes first thing in the morning, I find it easier to do the exercise. I don't want to wear sweats all day so I get it done. emoticon
