Can it really have been a year?

Just this past week I past my one year anniversary with SP. I can't believe it has been that long. I've learned a lot, and passed a few obstacles. I wish the weight loss this year were more than 45 pounds, but that is life.
My biggest challenge is still my "inner 2-yr old" that I still haven't taught that she can't eat everything she wants all the time. I have learned to listen to my body as far as hunger levels, and of this I am proud. I look better, and have bought my first pair of Wrangler Jeans.
I still have a way to go, and believe it or not, I can't see a lot of difference between me now and me 95 pounds ago. I see hints occasionally (a leg that looks too thin to be me, toes that look long and elegant rather than stubby marshmallows) I can't wait for the day where I can see myself as others see me.
For now I am proud of my accomplishments and will continue to work toward getting myself even more healthy. The first challenge will be to get back to walking or riding my bike so that I can get more exercise in. I know that is part of the slow weight loss.
So here's to a healthy future!!! May I live to be 99!
