Summer BLC Goals

Since I have come back to spark I have been considering why I am really on this journey. Don't get me wrong I want the excess weight to go away, but I could do that with fad diets if I wanted. What I really want is to have my healthy habits so ingrained that they come naturally. So for this challenge my goals strive to reflect that more than a lower number. A lower number goal (be it weight or inches) is actually a detriment to my overall health because when I don't reach my goal I get disappointed and revert to old habits.
Make healthy food choices: eat for hunger and not emotions/boredom, choose freggies for sweet or crunchy cravings, savor treats so that smaller amounts are appreciated, get my daily 8 glasses of water
Make exercise consistent: minimum of 30 minutes 5 times a week, include cardio and strength, make time for yoga, push myself to achieve greater
Be mindful: this is my greatest struggle and I need to start thinking about my actions (or lack of) and how they affect (and even effect) my life.
