Cleaning up my act

Even though I do not come on here often, I do think about ya'all all the time!! I have been working on making healthier choices and making sure those choices are readily available so that I am already prepared I start getting hungry. I may not be perfect all the time, but my goal is to eat healthy majority of the time, so that if I don't or if I "treat" myself, I do not beat myself up over it. I am attempting to eat clean - but I am not going to say I am fully committed... just yet ;)
I am also sloooowly getting back into working out. Clearing off the treadmill and I got Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred from Netflix. I will check back with an update in a couple of weeks.
I have had a couple of health issues over the years which have opened my eyes as to how important my overall health is. Also, seeing others that I care for struggling with health issues that could have been prevented or that I just take for granted, it has been a real eye-opener for me.
What IS good though, is that when I did get sick and/or had surgery, I lost 15-20lbs, gained it back, but maintained my usual weight without going over by more than 2lbs. My goal is to release the excess weight, feel healthier and full of energy and maintain that lower weight.
