21 days of no junk???

This challenge was put out in one of my FB spark groups:

And I shared it on my personal FB page along with a commitment to start. Since I don't have a large amount of health conscious friends I was surprised when a bunch of people jumped in , but then I was not so surprised when on day one of the challenge those people were surprisingly missing... So I'm sharing here this time around because I really Like company! emoticon

I did really good with the challenge on Monday and Tuesday, it even helped me stay in my calorie range and double my freggie servings. Then Wednesday - Friday I found myself adding junk that wasn't on the challenge list back into my diet and by the weekend I had blown it.

Well, I may have blown it this weekend, but guess what I'm starting again tomorrow! I am going to master this challenge, not so much because I think I should never eat junk again but because it's the right choice for me. I started out paying greater attention to and thinking more about what was going into my mouth. Better yet even as I wavered back into the land of junk I was still eating less of it because I was filling up on freggies first. I think that if I keep challenging myself I will make it to a point where I can add some junk in to my life as an occasional treat, the best long term choice for me.
