BLC23 Intro....The ABCs of Me

A is for ABOVE and BEYOND...Does competition give you an extra push? A little bit of a push but I'm not maniacal about it
B is for BLC rounds... Newbie?(first BLC round) Oldie?(1-3 rounds) Goldie?(long time BLCer)? Former BLC team(s)? I guess I'm a Goldie. This will be my eighth (ninth?) round of BLC. I was with the Sapphires for several rounds and switched to the Tigers last round

C is for CHILDREN...you have? none (but love to spoil my three nieces and my nephew)

D is for DOWNFALL...what's you're biggest temptation/excuse? Nutrition (I don't have the time)

E is for EARLY Bird or Night Owl? Probably more an early bird but need to get back into the habit

F is for FURRY FRIENDS...you have? Just moved in with some new roommates a little over a month ago and there are 4 dogs in the house. None of them are mine but they all like to come see me so I get the chance to love on them.

G is for GROCERIES...what do you fill your cart with? Things from the outside perimeter of the store mainly (fruits, veggies, meats, a little dairy and frozen fruit for smoothies)

H is for HOME...where do you call home? Franklin, TN (about 20 miles south of Nashville)

I is for INSPIRE...who or what is your roll model/inspiration? So many others in the BLC. I love watching the stories progress.

J is for JOB...What do you do for a living? I work in the closing department for a mortgage company

K is for KEEP IT SIMPLE...What's your healthy focus when short on time? Working out. I do it every day for at least 30 minutes


L is for LOG...Do you use the Nutrition and Fitness trackers? I was really faithful for about 10 weeks last round but have gotten out of the habit. Ready to get back to it.

M is for MARRIED, Single, Involved? Single

N is for NAME...What's the meaning behind your sparkname? First name, initial of last name, favorite hockey player's number

O is for OUNCES...How many ounces of water do you consume on a daily basis? usually around 100

P is for PRODUCE...How many fruits and veggies do you consume daily? 5-6

R is for ROUTINE...Average number of days and minutes you exercise weekly? Probably anywhere from 30-60 minutes per day and around 300 minutes a week. I'm going to really work on increasing my weekly fitness minutes this fall

S is for STATURE...How tall are you? 5'6"

T is for TIME...What time zone are you in? Central

U is for UNWIND...What is your favorite pass time or hobby? Watching hockey and reading. I almost always have a book with me

V is for VACATION...If you could travel anywhere, what destination would you choose? I would love to take a Jane Austen tour of England!!

W is for WEIGHT WORKOUT...Do you follow a consistent ST program? Fairly consistent. I workout with weights about 3 times a week but they may not always be the same three days.

X is for "X" MARKS THE SPOT...What do you want to see happen these 12 weeks, other than the scale move? I would love to go down a pants size and see some development in my muscles.

Y is for YESTERDAY...Do you dwell on poor choices or allow them to push you forward? I'm kind of neutral with this. I'm able to let poor choices go but I also need to let them push me more.

Z is for ZERO...name one weight loss tool you couldn't live without? running shoes
