I have been extremely busy the last few months finishing up this semester of grad school, taking on a new position as youth minister at church and working my normal 40 hour job. It's been very hectic and exercise and nutrition have definitely taken a back seat, something had to and it was first up on the chopping block. Well, the semester is over now, I turned in my last final paper in my last class yesterday evening so NO MORE EXCUSES. I know that if exercise and nutrition become a part of who I am and a part of my daily routine, they won't be so easily disregarded the next time life gets hectic. My strategy: spend the summer working those things into habits. I have found a friend who has agreed to be my workout buddy. I have to motivate him to go so I'll go. I'm so excited! I just feel like I've got to do something. Also, I'm going to the store this weekend and getting new headphones for my MP3 player; another excuse diverted. I feel really good about my new outlook and for the upcoming summer. I have planned a trip to sunny southern california for the end of the summer and I want to look HOT! I lived there for a while, but haven't been back to visit in about 3 years so it'll be fun to see old friends, but I want to do it skinny. Okay, that's it for today.
