Feeling defeated

It's one of those weeks. I gained a lot of weight in the last two weeks and I don't know why. I'm trying to be positive and get back on track, really I am. The problem is I'm not sure what "back on track" looks like right now. Trying to find a routine is something I have struggled with more and more. I've picked up a TON of tutoring to try to make enough money to sustain myself. Which leaves me less and less time to exercise and what I have been doing (the subject of another blog to come) seems to not be having any effect. I thought I was eating healthy but apparently not....I've started tracking again but don't know where the problem is. I need to do something to break the cycle of negativity and give me a positive upward boost but I can't seem to figure out what that is.

    Try focusing on one healthy habit for right now. When you get through this rough spot, add another healthy habit.

    I was there last year, putting on weight, unable to exercise, working WAAY too many hours on an online course that had me sitting on the couch from morning until late at night, desperately trying to keep up with student demands. Somehow, somehow, you need to make time for yourself. Are there corners you can cut elsewhere in your life that would allow you to get at least a half hour of strenuous exercise almost every day? When you start to get consistent about it, you'll feel the motivation coming back. Good luck. I'll be hoping things improve for you soon. emoticon

    So sad to read this from you and Becky, but I've been there so totally get the feeling. I would start with the food... proteins (without sauces/marinades), fresh veggies and fruit. You can do it!!! You've gotten through this before so try and remember how good you felt when things were getting back on track.

    I feel like I'm in very similar situation right now. I don't know what to do but if I keep gaining weight I am only going to get more sad. Let's help get each other in a good place again.
