Week 3- New Year, New Me

Current Weight - 200.8 lbs. Next week I should be under 200, the first time in almost 20 years. This is usually the point where I plateau and go back to my old eating habits. But I am confident that I can push below 200 lbs. emoticon

1/19-25/2014 - Walked for 20 minutes each day. I did eat more fruits and vegetables this week. Three days I had 2 carrot sticks, the pre-cut kind. Had a can of peaches and a few cantaloupes spears. I'm still eating a banana a day, which is helping my legs and knees. I have a weakness for having chips with my lunch, so this week I decided to cut back. I only had chips on Friday with lunch.

    Good job on the fruits and veggies and resisting the chips. And believe me, honey, you WANT to be be on the underside of 200, and you CAN walk over into Onederland! emoticon

    What an exciting milestone to look forward to! (I hope to join you in Onederland in a few weeks myself!) And your approach sounds like one that is sustainable...squeezing out old habits with healthier new ones.

    I've read from other Sparkers about hitting ONEderland. It must be quite an experience. You can do this...don't be afraid to slip off track. Best to you!
