Canceling all plans for today, I'm glad I didn't tell the girls we were going anywhere today! DH has a bad toothache and I must take him to the dentist. Poor guy! He's been up almost all night, which means I've been up almost all night. Man am I tired!!
I didn't do so good on my food yesterday, I got this wild hair that Chinese would not be too many calories. I ate it for lunch and I was still full at dinner! At least I remembered to get chicken, not beef. I won't be doing that again, it made me feel awful for the rest of the day. I'm really learning that what I eat and how I feel are directly related. Get up and drink homemade juice, I feel awake and mostly ready to go. Have Chinese for lunch, which is greasy and full of sugars and fats, feel horrible and fatigued for the rest of the day. You really are what you eat!
I made enough juice last night to have plenty throughout the whole day, not just for breakfast. I thought I would be trying to keep up with the kids at the pool, but keeping up with the kids at the dentist will probably be just as trying.
I'm thinking about scratching my morning workout till after the dental appointment and going to lay back down. I'm so tired. I wish DH had not woken me up!!
Today's foods are going to be pretty easy. DH won't be able to eat, so I won't have to worry about feeding him, and the kids will probably snack all morning at the dentist, so lunch won't be a problem. I'll take my juice with me and that should keep me full enough to not need to munch, but I'll take some rice cakes just in case. I'll have a shake when I get home, and probably a shake for dinner as well. Must make up the calories from yesterday! So, juice, shake, shake, couple of healthy snacks, done! I found some crackers that are made from seeds, not wheat, so I can have crackers again, Yay!
I'm not going to do any working out till we get back from the dentist, and then I'll do my 30 minutes and work on a strength training program. I'm too erratic with what I do now, I need to come up with a daily routine that I can add to on heavy strength training days. If I want to have the muscles like i used to, I need to work on them!
My day is pretty much shot by the having to go to the dentist, poor hubby. But that will give me the excuse I need to spend the afternoon working on our DIY stay at home space camp for next week!
I only have a few ideas for it, but I'm sure I'll find a lot online (education.com gave me the idea). I just hope we have a night clear enough for us to stay up late and look at the stars one night!

Workout: Strength and Aerobic!
Stay in calorie goals - don't overeat!
Stay sane while at the dentist!
Work on the DIY Space Camp
